Human Resource Management Practices, Employee Disposition and Employee Performance at National Police Service of Kenya

Organizations use human resource management practices to change employee attitude in order enhance performance. Disposition is a form of behaviour expressed by individual over time different conditions. Individual dispositions include personality traits which explain one’s situations and are genetically determined. The aim this study was establish effect disposition on the relationship between research based ability, motivation opportunity theory social exchange Positivism philosophy descriptive cross-sectional survey were used. Stratified random sampling used sample 384 National Police Service officers. primary data collected using structured questionnaires. Data analyzed both inferential statistics. findings showed that mediates further revealed positive affectivity negative individually significantly supported argument assumed employer-employee depends fulfilment each party’s obligation, thus rewards must be commensurate It concluded firm emphasis balance since has an impact However, more should affectivity.
